Hebrews 10:23–25 (ESV) // Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

What are community groups
and why are they important?
Community groups is where biblical community happens at Reclaim Christian Church. Scripture is full of descriptions of how we ought to do life together. We are told to:
1. Stir one another up to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24)
2. Teach one another (Titus 2)
3. Confess to one another (James 5:16)
4. Bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2)
5. Love one another (John 13:34)
6. Meet the needs of others (Acts 2:44-45)
These components of community are vital to spiritual growth but they are very difficult to cultivate if we only attend church on Sunday mornings. Community groups are where all of these components of biblical community groups can really begin to flourish.

When are the groups
and what happens when they meet?
There are two 12 week seasons of community groups per year. One from winter to spring and another from summer to fall.
During each season there will be various people that volunteer to host a community group. The hosts will choose to have groups either at the church or at their homes. Each host will pick a day of the week, a time, and a topic/study. The times, locations, and topics of each group will be displayed on the sign up sheets/forms during the sign up weeks prior to the start of the community group season.
Every season their will be a group that is exclusively for men and a group that exclusively for women. There will also be an ongoing community group for those who need recovery from a habit, hurt or hang up
